Interactive Mass-texting Becomes Easier with PhoneTree Messenger for iOS

Ogden, Utah – Avikey Software today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of an updated version of PhoneTree Messenger for iPhone and iPod touch. The app strives to facilitate the way iOS users communicate with large groups of people. The new version includes powerful new features, including the ability to import large contact lists directly from Excel, the ability to specify the start time of a message broadcast, and promises smoother user experience than ever before.

PhoneTree Messenger gives user a simple tool to deliver messages to hundreds of people simultaneously by automatically sending out emails, text messages, and phone calls to an entire group. The app offers three unique ways to communicate interactively: Simple Broadcast, Confirmed Delivery and Survey.

Simple Broadcast blasts out a text-message, phone-call, and email to everyone on the user’s list. However, for times when it’s important for the user to know who received the message and who didn’t, Confirmed Delivery mode will ask each recipient to confirm receipt and provide reports showing who has received the message and who hasn’t. PhoneTree Messenger will keep trying to contact recipients until they get the message. For users seeking a way to get immediate feedback from a large group of people, Survey Mode provides a powerful way to poll contacts and report on the results. This option comes in handy when inviting guests to a birthday Party or notifying a soccer team about changes to an upcoming practice.

PhoneTree Messenger doesn’t use any minutes or text messages user’s cell phone plan. The simple interface makes it great for casual use, but powerful features make it a serious tool for business users and marketing groups as well.
