Lessn is a quick and dirty URL shortener web application from Fever and Mint developer, Shaun Inman.

Lessn is an extremely simple, personal url shortener written in PHP with MySQL and mod_rewrite

Shaun uses Lessn instead of popular URL shortening services available today, such as bit.ly.  Shaun has posted a short piece about configuring Tweetie2 to use the custom URL shortener and be an even cooler Twitter-holic.
