Yellow Pages On iPad – Delicious Screenshots Included

 

Avantar has released the Yellow Pages app for Apple’s new iPad mobile computer. Currently the new Yellow Pages iPad design is pending approval by Apple, but is expected to launch on the iPad release date or shortly thereafter. This release follows the extraordinary success of the Yellow Pages apps and preferred GPS-enabled directories in both the iPhone and Android. Now that Avantar has covered all its bases their next priority is tying them all together through social networking.

SSPI Announces Mail Forward, Release 5 – E-mail Forwarding for Mac OS X

 

System Support Products, Inc. of Annandale, Virginia announces the availability of Release 5.0 of Mail Forward for Apple Mac OS X. Mail Forward is an award-winning, e-mail forwarding application which allows the user to forward mail from AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, MSN, Netscape and Yahoo web mail accounts to any e-mail address. Standard POP and IMAP e-mail accounts can also be forwarded. A maximum of 20 different e-mail accounts can be entered into the app, each with its own forwarding address.

Apple iPad Now Shipping

Loaded with more than 23000 quotes from movies and celebrities, Quotes Frame offers the biggest quotes collection. Perfect for the office, shop, parties, and social gatherings, Quotes Frame is sure to raise the mood. All quotes are contained within the database and placed on the device, so the application does not require users to have an internet connection.

"Demystifying iPhone & iPad App Development" Macworld session now online

 

“Demystifying iPhone & iPad App Development: A Non-Technical Overview for Decision-Makers and Idea People,” a conference session given at the Macworld 2010 Conference & Expo in San Francisco in February, is now available online as a free video screencast. Parade of Progress Productions, a Los Angeles-based design, development and consulting firm specializing in the iPhone, announced that it is making its Macworld session freely available, both for streaming and as a download.
