You failed to mention a feature CandyBar 3 dropped from earlier version, App Extras. I loved this feature but Panic says it can cause problems in Leopard so they didn’t include it. Would it be safe to go into the app packages and change icons by hand? What is the problem with doing this in Laopard anyway?

I'm not sure what prevented the Panic team from including this feature in the Leopard release, but as many underlying technologies were changed in this OS release, I can see how something could have gone wrong.

You could always file a bug report with Panic. This way they know the feature is missed and can possibly begin implementing a workaround for the Leopard release. If no one says they miss the feature, it most likely won't be added.
