iPhone 1.1.1 Jailbreak

iPhone Alley is reporting that a new version of iFuntastic will automate the jailbreak process. Has anyone used this application to confirm this? I’m still just using 1.0.2 with AppTapp installed and haven’t had any issues. However, if I can now upgrade to 1.1.1 and still put ringtones and have AppTapp on my phone, I’d love to do that.

Works great! Upgraded to new version. Followed the instructions and no problems. All previous installed third party app icons are removed with only the installer.app along with 1.1.1 icons are left. From there you can start to customize and add apps as you previously did with the installer.app.

….not sure if this was the right step, but I uninstalled all previous native apps that I could (some apps only lets you reinstall, not uninstall).

    Good luck.

I ended up using iFuntastic with this guide and all seems to be working. I’m not very fond of the way the home screen customization thing works now, instead of scrolling you flick between backgrounds and I don’t like the fact my background doesn’t cover all the screen. And the fact all my applications disappeared. But reinstalling them fixes it.

With iFuntastic there is an area in the program that lets you arrange your home screen and even have up to four different screens that you flick through. It’s a little strange setup, but yet it works. Is there anything like that in Independence?
