I have seen a few of these in the 'wild' the last couple days, all of them while working actually. One woman had some money and was just using it while in the restaurant (I work at Cracker Barrel) to show off. However, another woman and her male friend, both deaf, used her iPhone to let me know what she wanted, at least the parts we couldn't easily figure out. Was pretty cool.

My wife and daughter and I have had our iphone's a week now and their Great! Phone calls are crystal on both ends. Granted, the Edge is slow, but the upgrading of that network was part of the Apple Contract. The iphone is like most things Apple does, a work in process. Give it a little time, and the iphone will be just what the doctor ordered.
