Feeder Review

Feeder is a cool application that lets you create XML feeds for whatever your current project requires. I tried this application because I needed an AppCast to use with the Sparkle Framework, a framework that easily allows developers to drop in support for automatic updates in their applications (hint: Application in the works).

Feeder

I reviewed an application called Cast Life developed by Juan Alvarez, the same guy behind Cha-Ching, the cool financial application in beta right now. Links to all that is below the post info. Basically, Cast Life was a simple solution to creating podcasts, photocasts, filecasts, and newcasts. Feeder focuses more on letting the user dictate what happens with tons of options and more control. Not to say you couldn’t necessarily get this accomplished with Cast Life, but Feeder is a lot more flexible and a more mature product. Worth checking out if you have a need to create and maintain XML files yourself.
